In 2022 - Slalom Skateboard Racing first debuted at the World Skate Games in San Juan, Argentina (Oct 27-Nov 1) - our first big step toward getting our sport into the Olympics! We were honored to have SIX of our Sk8Kings Team riders who qualified for the Games in 2022 and now in 2024 - we have FOURTEEN from our Team who are qualified for World Skate Games Italia! That's right our number has more than doubled and this time we have NINE men and FIVE women from Sk8Kings who have earned their spot to represent USA in Italy in September 2024. That's quite an accomplishment for them and we could not be prouder to have them represent!
You can help get the Sk8Kings USA Team to the Games in Italy:
- Donate to the team travel fund - 100% of your donation proceed goes to cover competition travel expenses (transportation, lodging, food) for the Team - every bit helps
- You can designate a specific team rider by name for your donation in the notes section - otherwise, the whole team benefits
- Donations of $75 receive a free t-shirt from Sk8Kings in thanks for your support
- Donations of $100 receive a free t-shirt and hat from Sk8Kings in thanks for your support
- Every donation earns an entry into our Grand Prize drawing - and the winner gets to choose between a Brown Bomber M-Core Slalom Complete an El Hummungo Freestyle Complete OR a Blaster LDP/Ditch Complete - as the prize!
- Donations can be made through September 4, 2024
- Drawing will be held on September 5, 2024 and the winner will be contacted to choose the prize
- All shirts and hats (to $75/$100 donors) will be mailed out after the campaign closes. We'll send tracking emails to you when those ship out.
