History and Evolution: We started Sk8Kings (the brand) in 1998 and launched our online skate shop in 2004. Our brand's first focus was to bring freestyle skateboard gear back to the market. At that time, we were one of the very few companies to offer gear for that specialized niche market/genre of skater. Over the years our line has expanded to include more specialties such as slalom racing gear, long distance pumping and other unique disciplines within skateboarding. Sk8Kings products are all made in USA - most right here in Southern California. We are known all over the world for our products, service and customized gear solutions for all levels of skaters. We distribute our brand and several other top brands to a worldwide community of riders (e-commerce retail) and shops (b2b). We organize/run/promote racing and freestyle events AND have an amazing team of riders - many are multi-time world champions. Even so, we are truly a mom and pop operation and have always been passion-driven to provide great gear and customer service to the skateboard community.

Meet the Business Owners: Richy and Maria Carrasco - have been happily married since 1982 - partners in life and business. Maria with a background in business, media and design - manages sales, distribution and marketing for Sk8Kings. Richy is the head designer of our products and builder of our custom orders as well as being the coach and gear guru for our team of current world champion riders. Richy has a long history as a world champion pro skater starting in the 1970's and still competes at the pro level to this day.
