::: SK8KINGS COMING TO GEORGIA :::

Woody's Board Shop in Atlanta Georgia is hosting a weekend of slalom and freestyle with SK8KINGS.

Richy Carrasco is heading to Georgia to run a slalom clinic and freestyle demo/jam in Pickneyville Park. Woody's Board Shop is hosting the shindig and will run an outlaw race the following day Sunday. SK8KINGS photo/video crew (Maria) will be on hand to document the events. It should be a great weekend and we're looking forward to the visit. More good news -- it is free to participate -- that means no entry fee for the clinic, demo or race -- so if you can get there -- don't miss it.

Here is the plan for the weekend:

Slalom Clinic - Saturday (10/14): We'll get started about 10:00 a.m. at Pickneyville Park. This is a great opportunity to session with AXE Army General the Brown Bomber in a low-key friendly environment for critique and tips on your slalom technique. We'll be running the timer and videotaping so you can see your "before" and "after" progress. General Richy will run a board tune up pit area in conjunction with Woody's Board Shop. Recommended upgrades and tune-up gear will be available for purchase. Please bring your safety gear to run cones. AXE Army is always looking for new recruits -- check out how you can join here.

Freestyle Jam/Demo - Saturday (10/14): After a lunch break, we'll move over to the hockey rink also in Pickneville Park for a freestyle jam and clinic. The 360 King will be joined by SK8KINGS Georgia Division -- Frank Lee and other local rippers to jam and offer trick tips & equipment advice. Surface is great for freestyle so bring your steel 360 wheels! Everyone is welcome to skate.

Outlaw Slalom Race - Sunday (10/15): Location is Avalon Ridge at 10:00 a.m. Here is your chance to put into practice all the tips you got the day before at the clinic. Plan is to run TS and GS before the day is done. AXE Army Georgia Division will be out in force!
