BROWN BOMBER FINISHES RACING SEASON WITH TOP RANKINGS - October 2004
SK8KING Richy Carrasco aka Brown Bomber had his best racing season yet -- ending the year second overall at the season finale World Championships in Morro Bay, second overall in the American Cup Series AMERICAN CUP SERIES STATS and is now ranked third in the world for the season in the mens professional racing division WORLD RANKING.  Another highlight of the racing season was the three Flying Carrasco Brothers -- Richy, Rene & David all riding together again.  Watch out in 2005 for Rene' & David who are making their way up the ranks.  See some pics of the season in our Photo Gallery and read more commentary at: Richy's Slalom Forum  and pick up the lastest issue of Concrete Wave Magazine for more coverage. OFF THE RAILS DVD RELEASED - October 2004
SK8KINGS is proud to offer the first in a series from Off The Rails Productions.   OFF THE RAILS TV - VOLUME ONE - is an action-packed DVD brings a collection of features produced for broadcast on Fuel, Fox Sports Net, ESPN and more.  This hour long sampler covers some great moments in skateboarding's recent past showcasing the diverse aspects of skateboarding from events all over the world.

360 KING HONORED IN GUINNESS BOOK AGAIN - October 2004
The record for “Most Continuous Skateboard Revolutions” set by Richy Carrasco is listed for the second year in a row with the release of the 2005 hard cover edition of the Guinness Book of World Records .   Richy's record of 142 continuous 360’s was set on August 11, 2000 -- smashing his previous Guinness Record of 35 ½ set in 1978.   Big Props to Richy and rumor has it he's in training to beat his own record once again . . . BROWN BOMBER THE NEW U.S. TIGHT SLALOM CHAMPION -- August 22, 2004
SK8KING Richy Carrasco aka Brown Bomber came home with top honors from the U.S. Championships of Skateboard Racing in Breckenridge, CO. This was the semi-finale for the 2004 season and competition was fierce. Huge Props to Richy for making such a great showing! SK8KINGS SHINE AT CASPER CLASSIC II PASADENA -- August 15-16, 2004
SK8KING John Pope is the newest World Champion 360 Spinner -- winning the 360 spin-off competition on Sunday. John also competed in the Master's FS event and placed 4th. SK8KING Primo Desiderio walked away with second place in the Pro Freestyle event and -- Team Captain -- Richy Carrasco was on hand to judge the events and coach his team to victory! FLATLAND JAM SAN DIEGO -- August 1, 2004

BROWN BOMBER GOES TO GORGE GAMES -- July 10-11, 2004
The racing season continues on US soil -- this time in Hood River, Oregon. Brown Bomber finished 4th – in one of the longest winding GS courses ever seen – and 5th in the Hybrid after taking a fall in the final rounds. Thankfully – no major injuries! Pics and commentary at: Richy's Slalom Forum

BROWN BOMBER RACING SUCCESS IN EUROPE -- June 2004
EUROPE - PARIS WORLD CUP (France) and SILVERSTONE GRAND PRIX (England) - (May 29-31/June 5-6) – Brown Bomber represented the US in good form! Racing in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower in Paris - Richy finished 2nd Place Special Pro and 3rd Place Giant Pro before heading off to England for the next stop. At the world famous Silverstone Grand Prix race track – Richy swept the two day event – taking 1st place in every race and winning 1st place overall! News on Monster Energy Site

GARY HOLL SWEEPS SLO -- May 16, 2004
Team rider Gary Holl -- was crowned the King of the West Coast after sweeping the SLO FSK8 Flatland event in San Luis Obispo, CA (1st Freestyle, 1st 360's, 1st place High Jump, 1st place Game of SK8). Way to represent Gary -- Congrats! Read More

SK8 JAM HUNTINGTON BEACH -- May 2, 2004

BICKNELL BLITZ CHALLENGE -- April 22, 2004
Just back from Mississippi and straight on to another night race at the legendary Bicknell Hill in Venice Beach. SK8KINGS Richy & Rene Carrasco represented and finished 5th and 10th respectively. Find more info and pics at: Juice Magazine Coverage

SLALOM RACING SERIES KICKS OFF WITH LUNA JAM -- April 17, 2004
Had to head down south -- southeast that is -- to Jackson, Mississippi for the first race of the 2004 American Cup Series. SK8KING Richy Carrasco finished the weekend on the podium with a 3rd place victory. Event coverage in Concrete Wave Magazine. Pics and commentary at: Richy's Slalom Forum

SK8 JAM HUNTINGTON BEACH -- March 28, 2004

The Fuel Network – is currently re-airing the past season of Surge. March 12 & 13 – Surge has slotted the episode featuring the 2003 Jammin Freestyle segment – a montage of some of the hottest flatland skating footage collected over the last five years including SK8KINGS team riders - Primo & Diane Desiderio, Carrasco Brothers (Richy & Rene), and John Pope. Also being re-aired is the 360 King -- profile of Richy Carrasco -- highlighting Richy’s latest Guinness World Record for 360’s on a skateboard, his slalom racing and a little history thrown in for good measure.
