REMINDER -- SK8KINGS IN GEORGIA THIS WEEKEND --

SK8KINGS SO CAL HEADING TO GEORGIA --
AXE Army General and his trusty sidekick (guess who?) are jetting cross country to hook up with the Georgia crew. We'll be having a slalom clinic, a flatland sk8 jam/demo and a slalom race before the weekend is done. Everyone is invited so don't miss it if you're a local. Props to John Karg of Woody's for sponsoring this weekend of slalom & freestyle.

SUMMER HIGHLIGHTS: Summer has now turned into fall and the train is still rolling. The months have just flown by and we've been to several places since our last update. It's been an awesome ride and still catching up on the event photos and recaps. Full report on "what we did on our summer vacation" is coming as soon as possible but here are a few highlights for now:
Slalom racing season has been off the charts -- starting with the Buckeye Open - Ohio in June, followed by a full month of July with the West Coast Championships in Oregon and the World Championships in Brixlegg Austria. AXE Army was out in force at Hood River and had great results!

The
trip to Austria was epic and we made the most of it by taking
some time to explore the Rhine River villages in Germany on
the way. (Pic above is Richy and I in Cochem with it's
castle and the Mosel River in the
background) Brixlegg is now among my personal favorite race
venues! Lynn
Kramer claimed her Fourth Women's World Champonship title. MUCH
more to share about that trip -- in the next update.
Just back from Europe and we were off again to Colorado for the US Nationals in August. Great time there and Richy brought back some top honors -- winning his second National Tight Slalom Championship title and tying with Jason Mitchell for the overall title for the weekend. AXE Army was ripping!
September brought us back to So Cal. We kicked off the month with a freestyle SK8 Jam at the San Diego ASR show with lots of special guests.

The next weekend we were down south again for the Encinitas Open. Excellent event! Carrasco Brothers trio were racing and AXE Army was out in force once again! David and Rene' both placed on the podium in their divisions and Richy took a 1st & 3rd place to win the overall for the weekend. Lynn was running the event and still managed to win her division.
