SK8KINGS WHIRLWIND MINI TOUR --  Three weekends -- Three events -- Whew!
 
First Stop: 
Purple Skunk Skate Jam --San Francisco CA -- Feb 19 -- It all started in San Francisco at the SK8 Jam hosted by Purple Skunk Board Shop.

San Francisco -- Team Riders Richy Carrasco, Gary Holl & Jon Bunn were joined by a ton of friends for slalom, freestyle and lots of stoke in the City by the Bay. Look for the Purple Skunk SK8 Jam write up in Concrete Wave Magazine hitting stands now.  See the full report and photo gallery here
 
 
Second Stop:
Texas Sizzler Race -- Austin TX -- Feb. 25-26 --Slalom season officially got underway with the Texas Sizzler racing events.  Props to the Texas Outlaw Crew for their stoke and hospitality.

Texas -- Richy Brown Bomber rode the AXE to victory taking 1st Place and the cash in the hybrid slalom main event and a narrow 2nd place in the GS event.  SK8KINGS team riders Brad Jackman & Lynn Kramer charged in both events as well.  It was great to see so many AXE Army riders at this event.  Look for coverage of the Texas Sizzler in the current issue of CW Magazine and photo gallery coming soon to SK8KINGS. 
 
Third Stop:
Pump Station Race -- San Diego CA -- March 4 -- Back home to Cali for more slalom fun at the Pump Station Tight Slalom Challenge.

San Diego-- Richy Brown Bomber took the AXE to the podium again grabbing 2nd Place and the cash in this fast steep course.  Lynn Kramer was charging as usual and the AXE Army was out in force with newcomer Art Pryde moving up the ranks.  Look for photos and more at SK8KINGS soon.

Frank Lee Joins the Team -- Welcome Frank Lee from Georgia who is representing SK8KINGS in the East.  Frank is an all around skater with impressive talent and we are so pleased to have him on board. Full Team Profile coming soon. 
 
Jon Bunn Sweeps Inglewood -- Jon "The Next One" Bunn took top honors at the Inglewood Games April 8 -- finishing 1st place in freestyle and the 360 spin off.  Congrats to Jon!  Photo gallery and more coming soon. 
 
Gary Holl's Rengstorff Jams -- Props to Sargeant Holl for organizing the regular weekend freestyle jam sessions in Mountain View.  If you live in the Bay Area and want to connect with the crew -- check out Nor Cal Connection with Gary for details and updates.
